Single User License EUR 549,-The license does not expire and includes 1 year of support and upgrades. All conditions are found in the End User License Agreement (EULA). ILNumerics is provided by idalab GmbH and sold through Avangate.

License Renewal EUR 249,-Owners of a Single User License can optionally renew their license for less and receive another year of support and upgrades - or continue to use the last matching version. Academic InstitutionsWe offer special rates for academic institutions. Please contact us for details. Include your name, institution, number of needed licenses and contact details. If you are planning to use ILNumerics in your courses, please provide the name, a short description and the time span of the course too. |
Site LicensesFor large development teams. If more than five licenses are needed, we offer discount rates on ILNumerics licenses. Please contact us with your details, purpose and number of required licenses. |

If you decide to continue using ILNumerics after 30 days, you can buy a Single User License and continue with your project easily.

Licensing FAQ
Single User License
Does my Single User License expire?
No. ILNumerics Single User Licenses are perpetual and hence do not expire. However, they are only valid for ILNumerics releases within one year of purchase. To continue to obtain updates and benefit from new releases buy a license renewal.
Do we need to buy a license for each developer working with ILNumerics?
Yes. Licenses are sold per developer seat. Each developer writing and compiling code using ILNumerics requires a license. For example, if 5 developers are writing an application, and only 2 are doing most of the work using ILNumerics, still all 5 must have a license.
Are there any runtime or distribution fees?
No. There are no runtime fees or royalties and you can distribute derived work as often as you like. Check the EULA for details.
Can I install my copy of ILNumerics and the license on more than one machine?
Yes. You can install a licensed copy of ILNumerics on as many machines as you require. However, you must make sure that at any time the number of licensed users using ILNumerics is not exceeded. Check the EULA for details.
Does ILNumerics include source code?
No, ILNumerics does not include any source code, except for example code of course.
Evaluation License
I just received the evaluation license file. What comes next?
The licensing mechanism of ILNumerics is easy: simply make sure, the file is found by ILNumerics at runtime. The most common way of ensuring this is to place the license file into the binary output folder of your project. Alternatively, you may add the location of the file to the PATH environment variable.
Does the evaluation license introduce any limitations to the use of ILNumerics?
An evaluation license gives you access to the unlimited feature collection and the full speed of ILNumerics - for 30 days after the date of issue. However, it is not allowed to distribute ILNumerics nor to use it with any other purpose than testing and evaluation.
What happens after 30 days?
As soon as the evaluation period has elapsed, the Evaluation License file will no longer be recognized by ILNumerics and the license reverts back to a Free Trial license. If ILNumerics is what you need, buy a Single User License. This will allow you to receive free upgrades for 1 year and to use ILNumerics for as long as you want.
Is it possible to update to a newer release of ILNumerics during the evaluation period?
No. In order to use a newer release of ILNumerics, you must buy a Single User License or request a new evaluation license for that specific version.
Which limitations am I facing, if I use the ILNumerics binaries in conjunction with an expired evaluation license?
Using ILNumerics without a valid license file corresponds to a Free Trial. Your application will require a restart after a certain number of allocations.
Do I have to use a distinct license file for every machine I want to test ILNumerics on?
No. The evaluation licence is assigned to one person/one developer and can be copied to any machine this person is working on. However, you may not share your evaluation license with other persons.
